The ACC-COM-POTS is used when the Master Controller of a Site is connected via dial-up telephone modem and requires a dial-up modem in the central computer, and a dedicated analog line at the Site for the Master Controller connection. ACC-COM-POTS has dial-up communications ability built-in, but may also require the additional modules for outbound radio and/or hardwire connections with other controllers.
